*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. *Duties* * Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. * Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff. * Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and sinks. * Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. * Help with the disposal of waste and recycling as required. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. * Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary. * Ability to lift and carry heavy items. * Ability to work in hot environments. * A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from RCMP or local police authority.
