Are you passionate about dogs and love spending time outdoors? *Mahogany Dogs* is looking for a dedicated and reliable Dog Walker to join our team and assist with our growing dog walking services. We proudly serve the SE Calgary community, with our home base located in the beautiful neighborhood of Mahogany. If you?re looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make tails wag and brighten the day for both pets and their owners, we?d love to hear from you! You Will: * Safely walk dogs of various breeds, sizes, and energy levels, ensuring their health and happiness. * Provide individual or group walks tailored to each dog's needs, including exercise, play, and potty breaks. * Monitor dog behavior during walks, identifying and addressing any signs of stress, discomfort, or aggression. * Maintain control of dogs on leashes, adhering to local bylaws and safety protocols at all times. * Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates, photos, or notes about their dog?s walk and well-being. * Safely transport dogs to and from homes (if applicable) while respecting owners? property and access instructions. * Represent Mahogany Dogs professionally, maintaining a friendly and trustworthy demeanor. You Have: * Strong time-management skills to ensure timely and consistent service for clients. * Flexible schedule to accommodate varying client needs, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends. * Reliable transportation to travel between client homes or walking locations (if required). * Ability to walk for extended periods and handle active or large dogs. * Understanding of canine behavior to identify signs of stress, aggression, or illness. * Knowledge of leash handling and basic dog safety protocols. * Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their pets. * Genuine passion and care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. * Previous experience walking, training, or caring for dogs is preferred. * Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus.
