The *Product and Analytics Manager (PAM)* plays a key role at Motor City Community Credit Union (MCC CU), overseeing the strategic direction, development, and performance of member products and analytics.
This position is responsible for shaping product strategies, managing the entire product lifecycle, and ensuring a member-centric approach while driving the growth and maturity of the organization?s data management capabilities.
The PAM works collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure that all banking, lending, and investment products, as well as member and strategic analytics, align with and support MCC CU?s business objectives and plans.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role holds full ownership of MCC CU?s products and analytics portfolio, from initial concept through to long-term sustainment, ensuring consistent value delivery and organizational impact.
*Major Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Manage and develop MCC CU?s products to ensure competitiveness and market relevance. Responsible for managing the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and sustainment
· Develop product and industry expertise in the Canadian Credit Union and Banking spaces, helping to identify new products to round out the product suite
· Identify potentially meaningful product additions, improvements, and tweaks. Make recommendations to leadership team
· Lead discovery, business casing, and execution to bring the products to market in a timely manner
· Collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure that all additions are regulatory compliant, and can be adequately managed by existing resources
· Manage and develop MCC CU?s member analytics to support business objectives and initiatives
· Manage and develop business analytics to inform business decisions at the leadership level
· Discover insights to identify new opportunities for driving business value
· Develop and automate our statistical testing, offer attribution analysis, and customer segmentation
· Become a subject-matter expert in the relevant datasets within the analytics domain
· Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand and develop business questions, processes, and KPIs
· Develop reporting requirements and identify gaps in current reporting.
· Develop new reports to eliminate gaps. Send regular reports to management
· Work across functions and relevant platforms to drive execution
· Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to MCC CU?s overall success
*Knowledge, Experience and Skills:*
· Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Data Science or related field
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services industry with a preference to product management/data analytics experience
· In-depth knowledge of financial services and banking product landscape
· Proficient in advanced analytics and data science techniques including anomaly detection, forecasting, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning methodologies
· Hands-on experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Lodestar
· Skilled in using product and project management platforms such as Confluence, Visio, Jira
· Exceptional listening skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
· Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
· Proven time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
· Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated experience in tactical execution, goal setting, and performance measurement
· Adept at prioritizing, planning, and overseeing multiple processes, projects, and teams simultaneously.
· Self-aware, empathetic, and possess a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
· Sound judgment with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
