<p>Hello, I'm Julie Baptista, Team Leader at FED Engineering, specializing in temporary and permanent recruitment for engineering, design, and manufacturing roles. <br>We are experts and speak your language. <br>We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company based in Boucherville, for a Mechanical Designer - Permanent position, 39.5 hours/week, paid as 40 hours</p><p>Your Responsibilities<br> <br>Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will be: <br> <br>Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions. <br>Design industrial equipment, including complex mechanisms, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. <br>Create detailed plans and 3D models using design software. <br>Select appropriate materials and components for projects. <br>Draft technical documentation and user manuals. <br>Collaborate closely with the production team for prototyping and manufacturing. <br>Implement and track necessary project adjustments. <br>Perform other related tasks as required.</p><p>Your Skills <br> <br>-Ability to work autonomously while being a strong team collaborator. <br>-Technical expertise in mechanical design. <br>-Proactive and methodical approach to project management. <br> <br>Your Profile <br> <br>-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in industrial environments. <br>-Proficiency with 3D mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor). <br>-Bilingual: Fluent in French with professional-level English. <br>-Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. <br>-Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and complex mechanical systems. <br> <br>Compensation and Benefits <br>Salary: $80k - $90k gross annual, based on experience. <br>Schedule: 39.5 hours/week, paid as 40 hours, with flexible days. <br> <br>Benefits: <br> <br>Pension Plan (REER). <br>Comprehensive group insurance. <br>Remote work available up to 2 days per week.</p>- LocationMontréal, QC
