*Hiring immediately - 1st and 2nd year Welder Apprentices as well as experienced Welders that reside in the Vancouver area. (10 Hour shifts with Fridays and weekends off with the exception of job requirements). * *Who we are looking for:* * Ticketed journeypersons or registered apprentices * Valid CWB SMAW all position ticket preferred * Experience with structural steel projects and commercial projects * Safety as your number one priority * Reliable and willing to work as a team and take instructions from the Project Foreman *Certificates Required:* * FP (Fall Protection) * EWP (Elevated Work Platform) * Telehandler certificate would be an asset * WHMIS and CSTS (free on-line) * Valid driver's license *What we offer:* * Long-term, year-round employment * Opportunities for growth and advancement - we always promote within! * Competitive wages * A comprehensive benefits package after 300 hours Island Installation Inc. strive to be the most efficient installer of steel products in the industry.
