Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Chicken farming. Livestock. Poultry and egg production. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Equipment and machinery experience: Egg gathering system. Area of specialization: Poultry. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
