MARLEYFIRE INC. is a fire prevention company based out of Barrie, ON. We provide a wide range of services to help protect and prevent Commercial, Industrial and Residential areas from fire. From the design stage to the installation stage, MARLEYFIRE INC. has 20 years of experience in the fire protection industry. We are currently seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team. The position consists of the following responsibilities: * Annual and monthly inspections on fire sprinkler systems * Installing sprinkler-based fire protection systems and piping * Perform service and repairs on Fire sprinkler systems * Assist in other areas when needed The candidate must have the following criteria before applying: * Journeyman sprinkler fitter licensed to work in Ontario. * 1 or more years of service and installation experience * Able to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications for installation * Knowledge of NFPA, Ontario Fire Code and the Ontario Building code * Able to work in sometimes difficult work spaces such as climbing ladders, high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. * Multi-tasking and performing well under deadlines * Can operate under minimal supervision * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * G License Job Type: Full-time or Part- time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30.00-$60.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Sprinkler fitting: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Journey persons license (required) * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBarrie, ON
