Great Canadian is a premier Roofing and Siding company in Western Canada. For over 25 years we have built a professional and organized firm and are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position on a 40 hour work week (8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday). *Duties:* - Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget - Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules - Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation - Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients - Direct the purchase of building materials - Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff. - Distributes jobs to subcontractors and coordinates with admin to advise where crews are through shared calendars. - Conduct pre inspections of job site - Visit job sites daily - Conduct Post inspection of job site - Attend daily morning meetings with production coordinator and GM to discuss daily activity - Arrange meetings between salesman and installers on projects that may need first hand explanations - Meetings or inspections are scheduled by the Project Manager for all ?problem files? with the sales rep and customers, so all parties are in attendance and aware of expectations - Project manager must have a signed change order form before any deviations from the original contract takes place. - Notify sales of any mistakes, shortages or problems via email and cc all concerned. - Project managers will arrange delivery of any material shortages to the roofers if the project manager does not have it with them. *Employment Requirements:* - Experience in a construction setting an asset - Physically able to climb ladders, up to 30 feet off the ground Thank you for your interest in Great Canadian Roofing & Siding.
