*KMC specializes in high-performance alloys, manufacturing alloys primarily for the petrochemical industry.* *Summary:* Responsible for duties ranging from general upgrade and repair of simple castings, fabrication of general or simple petrochemical assemblies using GTAW processes under the general direction of the Supervisor, Fabrication. *Major Responsibilities (but not limited to)* · Read blueprints and understand interpret weld symbols in order to correctly set up, fit and weld components of general and simple petrochemical assemblies to accurate dimensions. · Ensure a safe environment for workers, staff and visitors; ensure personal safety with the use of all required PPE and safe set up procedures. · Train with use of jigs and fixtures to set-up and weld castings to ISO standards. · Possess knowledge of safe material handling techniques and be conversant in the safe operation of material handling equipment. · Perform other duties as required. *Education, Experience and Qualifications* Minimum Grade 12 education required · College or Technical Training an asset · Certificate in ASME, CWB and TSSA standards is considered an asset · Welding Apprenticeship Training an asset · Minimum 2 years? experience working in a Fabrication / Welding department within a Manufacturing environment. *We thank all applicants, however only those under consideration will be contacted.* Kubota Materials Canada Corporation is an equal opportunity employer which considers all qualified applicants for employment without regards to race, colour, creed, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, disability.
