Parts Technician Roles & Responsibilities: * Servicing customers via multiple platforms, e.g. email, telephone, counter sales * Maintaining warehouse and parts inventory * Updating invoices and internal repair orders * Exceptional Customer Service and strong communication skills * Assisting with back counter parts for the shop. Ideal candidate will possess the following: * Has a minimum of 4 years? experience in Parts Department Operations * Municipal and Heavy Equipment experience an asset * Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service * Proactive customer communication * Has excellent team ideology, with a strong emphasis on collaborative culture * Has excellent communication skills, is highly organized and can manage paperwork efficiently * Is independent and resourceful; has the ability to work under minimal supervision * Is proficient with computers and supporting programs, e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point, etc. * Has knowledge of mechanical parts, catalogs, distributors and dealers * Has knowledge of inventory control and warehousing practices. * Active safety culture participation and involvement * Has a clean driving record and a valid Alberta class 5 driver's license * Minimum 1st or 2nd year parts apprentice * Journeyman parts certificate an asset. * The ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced challenging environment We thank all candidates for their interest in a position with IMI, however only short-listed candidates will be considered.
