*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes, including steep terrain in adverse conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. *Duties* * Operate heavy trucks to transport heavy equipment to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of equipment. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues encountered. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. * Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle *Skills* * Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). * Experience in heavy haul and forestry equipment operations. * Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. * Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills for interaction with team members, dispatchers, and clients. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
