*Job Summary*
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems and components for nuclear power plants. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
*Responsibilities*
* Design and develop nuclear systems and components using CAD software.
* Conduct system design analysis and simulations using MATLAB.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to fabricate prototypes and test systems.
* Create detailed schematics for nuclear equipment and systems.
* Utilize logic controllers in the development of automated processes.
* Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of project development.
* Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and manuals.
*Experience*
* Bachelor?s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for design purposes.
* Experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and system design methodologies.
* Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in nuclear systems is desirable.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $104,554.23-$175,797.50 per year
