We're seeking a *Senior Accountant - Assurance *to join our growing team in *Edmonton, Alberta*. If you're looking to advance your career in public accounting, this *full-time role *is ideal for individuals based in Edmonton who are ready to take on new challenges. *What You?ll Be Doing:* * Leading and executing client engagements, specifically audits, reviews, and compilations. * Preparing audit working papers and handling reviews and compilation engagements. * Reviewing small and medium engagements with increasing responsibility. * Building and maintaining strong client relationships while offering solution-focused recommendations. * Developing a deep understanding of client businesses and their best practices. * Representing the firm at client industry events. *What We?re Looking For:* * Canadian CPA designation (or near completion). * 3+ years of experience at a CPA firm in Canada, with a focus on audits, reviews, compilations, and tax (T1s and T2s). * Strong knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, CAS, and taxation standards. * Proven leadership and mentoring experience with CPA students. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Ability to work 5 days in office in Edmonton. * Ability to manage and mentor a small team (3 members).
