As a Welder at our fabrication shop in Welland, ON, you will be a great asset to our team. *What you?ll love about us:* Competitive wages Afternoon shift premium Incentive bonuses Benefits packages Paid time off / vacation Retirement savings program Work gear reimbursements Training and development Contribution-based advancement opportunities *What we?ll love about you:* CWB certification is required and/or relevant training Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams, read blueprints, and/or other printed instructional material in the welding of products or parts Familiar with the set up and operation of welding machine and other equipment and metal fabrication equipment Safety conscious and will adhere to all Steelcon safety processes and policies *What you?ll work on:* At Steelcon, Welders are skilled trade workers who place and weld materials together from blueprints or drawings, ensuring that every product meets strict quality control standards. Welders must be able to clearly interpret and understand blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols and fabricate accordingly. *Shift:* We are actively hiring for the afternoon/night shift, working 44 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 5:30 pm-5:15 am Friday-No scheduled shift As a Welder, you must have excellent attention to detail and will work closely with welders to help construct various structural materials based on the needs of the organization.
