*Overview* We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and maintaining a positive shopping experience. This role requires effective communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. * Demonstrate product knowledge to effectively sell and upsell items. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer experience. * Perform cashier duties, including cash handling and balancing registers at the end of shifts. * Stay informed about promotions, sales, and new product arrivals. *Experience* * Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change. * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store appearance. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Ability to engage customers effectively and drive sales through upselling techniques. * Familiarity with cashiering duties and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
