Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Analyse clients' capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews and formal assessments. Consult and advise on health promotion programs to prevent disabilities and to maximize independent function in all activities of life. Develop and implement treatment programs. Evaluate treatment progress. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Conduct research in occupational therapy. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check.
