We continue to expand and have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler. *Best Rates for the Best Skills!* _*What we Offer*_ * Good negotiable rates of pay depending on your skill level * Opportunities for advancement and skills enhancement * Work in a thriving company with the newest computerized technology in concrete and steel building manufacturing * Construction of factory built, non-combustible, low carbon, low energy use, high performance, comfortable, long lasting, resilient, and affordable buildings * Career advancement with opportunities learning from a well-trained team of professionals _*Responsibilities*_ * Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes with long, heavy structural loads * Maintain a continuous flow of material for processing to the to the production team * Overhead Crane experience * Load, remove and organize all material including structural steel * Maintain an organized work space * Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed * Follow directions carefully _*Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience*_ * 3 years experience operating material handling equipment with large, heavy and uneven loads * Valid Forklift certification * Valid Overhead Crane certification * Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs * Hand and power tool experience considered an asset * Experience reading drawings considered an asset * Strong work ethic * Punctual and dependable * Able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays * Able to provide their own transportation Kiwi Newton Group encourages people to enjoy work and working with others, to be creative and effective in teams, to be reliable for other team members and to develop efficient work habits to serve customers well and deliver best value excellent buildings and structures.
