*Overview* We are seeking a part time, dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Our office is a small, family-oriented team who work closely together to meet the needs of our growing patient population. We are well-established and the office has been in operation for over 25 years. We are currently looking to fill a Friday/Saturday position with the potential opportunity to grow into full time in the New Year. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education and preventive oral health practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are a growing practice, with a well-established patient basis. This position could lead to full-time as we transition into our new physical location in the new year. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth. * Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and document findings accurately. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans. * Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide optimal patient care. * Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental software. * Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. *Qualifications* * Successful completion of Dental Hygiene diploma/degree. * In good standing with CDHO. * Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus. * Proficiency in Tracker is considered an asset. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions. * A commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry standards.
