We are looking for Cooks to join our team in servicing our healthcare community. You will be a pivotal member of our company and our partners and will be treated as such. We are an agency who not only cares to provide relief staff to our partners with passionate, qualified, experienced Cooks, RN?s, RPN?s, and PSW?s to long-term care, retirement homes and hospitals but we also care about our industry professionals, like you, who want to continue serving their community while growing professionally. *Responsibilities:* Cooks play a vital role in our health care system where they work closely with our clients providing excellent food services. Duties include: * Cook for the residents of a Long-term or retirement facility * Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order * Training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of foods * Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns *Experience:* At least one year of Cooking experience. *Qualifications:* * Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment and utensils * Food Handler's certificate * Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures * Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months) * Proficient verbal and written English communication skills * Valid Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months) * Meet COVID-19 Vaccinations as required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Night shift * On call * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you have a Vulnerable Sector Check Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) Work Location: In person- LocationIngersoll, ON
