The Pincher Creek Co-op accepts applications for a Bakery Clerk to join our team. This is a Permanent (Part-Time) position and is required to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager. The details of the responsibilities are as follows: *Responsibilities* * *Customer Service: *Provide exceptional customer service by offering information, assistance, and support for both regular and special cake orders. * *Product Display and Decoration: *Decorate cakes and other bakery items attractively and creatively. Display products, ensuring they are correctly labeled with prices and descriptions. * *Order Fulfillment: *Assist customers with placing small and large special orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in custom requests. * *Quality and Food Safety: *Monitor the freshness and shelf life of bakery items, ensuring all raw and finished products meet quality and food safety standards. * *Housekeeping and Safety: *Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including equipment, tools, and display cases. Regularly monitor refrigeration temperatures. * *Additional Duties: *Perform other tasks as assigned to support bakery operations. *Requirements* * *Physical Capability: *Able to lift and handle materials up to 40 lbs. * *Independence: *Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. * *Adaptability: *Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands. * *Professionalism: *Always maintain a clean and neat appearance. * *Availability: *Must be available for early shifts based on business needs. * *Food Safety Knowledge: *Food Safety certification is an asset. _\*A COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED._ *REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager ?
