*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives across a designated region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
*Duties*
* Perform ongoing analysis of the market to identify trends and potential areas for growth.
* Build key customer relationships with new and existing clients.
* Manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retain business.
* Develop and analyze the effectiveness of sales programs; implement changes based on findings.
* Manage and lead the sales team in alignment with company goals and revenue objectives.
* Forecast sales targets and ensure they are being met by the sales team.
* Effectively communicate brand identity; use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company?s unique value proposition and differentiators.
* Work closely with other department managers to ensure sales strategies are aligned with operations.
* Work with and mentor members of the sales team.
* Conduct sales forecasts, prepare and present monthly reports to management.
* Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
*Requirements*
* Post-secondary education preferred in business, marketing, economics or other related field.
* 10+ years of sales and account management experience.
* Experience in all aspects of sales team management, including forecasts, reporting and coaching.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and negotiate at all levels.
* Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementation skills.
* Strong analytical and research skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
* Ability to respond appropriately in high-pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.
* Able to work flexible hours, be on-call as required, and travel regularly.
