*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lowbed Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent time management skills. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. We offer competitive wages. *Duties* * Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport freight to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on highways and local roads. * Perform basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). * Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. * Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and performing inspections.
