Job Summary The Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance on shop facility machinery and equipment. Major Responsibilities · Perform maintenance on the shop facility, machinery and equipment · Perform corrective, reactive and preventative maintenance of facilities buildings, equipment and installations as well as repairs and project work Working Conditions · Must be able to show proficiency in safety training, be able to climb, work at heights and qualify for fall restraint and confined spaces · The role requires working inside and outside in various conditions · The role requires working away from home for extended periods · The incumbent must be available to work overtime when necessary Requirements · Must- LocationThunder Bay, ON
