We?re looking for a passionate and experienced culinary professional to help lead our kitchen team, create exceptional dishes, and contribute to an exciting new chapter of Chronicle Brewing. *Role Overview:* The Che will play a critical role in overseeing the kitchen?s day-to-day operations, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where beer and food pairings are a key part of our identity. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Menu Development:* Collaborate with the team to create seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients and pair well with Chronicle Brewing?s beer offerings. * *Food Preparation:* Oversee and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes to ensure consistent quality and presentation. * *Inventory Management:* Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste to maintain cost efficiency. * *Health & Safety Compliance:* Ensure the kitchen adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. * *Team Training:* Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service. * *Collaboration:* Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service. *Qualifications:* * Culinary diploma or equivalent experience. * 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with menu development and costing. * Proficiency with digital software such as excel or point of sale systems. * A passion for local ingredients, craft beer, and creating memorable dining experiences. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. *What We Offer:* * Competitive salary (commensurate with experience). * Opportunities for creative input and menu innovation. * A collaborative and supportive work environment. * Discounts on food, beer, and merchandise. * The chance to be part of a growing company with deep roots in the local community.
