We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth operation within the dental office. This position requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children, and is eager to contribute to a positive patient experience.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
* Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
*Skills*
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
* Familiarity with dental receptionist duties to assist with front office tasks is an asset.
* Proficiency in using dental software such Maxident for patient management.
* Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)
