*Overview* We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. *Prerequisite* * Must have a vehicle for the deliveries * Must have a valid Police check * Must have valid drivers licence * Must have a work permit or proof of citizenship * Must provide a drivers abstract. (Takes 2 minutes online) *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. * Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition. * Utilize heavy equipment operation skills when necessary for loading or unloading freight. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
