*JOB OVERVIEW* This is an incredible chance to make a real difference in the lives of children aged 3-14. You will have the unique opportunity to learn and implement engaging, age-appropriate fitness programs under experienced coaches. Our goal is to powerfully boost children's physical abilities, motor skills, and overall health and well-being within a lively and engaging learning environment. *KEY RESPONSIBILITY* *Training Session Assistance* * Support senior coach during training sessions, helping with leading children through warm-up, workout, and cool-down activities. *Parent and Guardian Interaction* * Interact with parents and guardians in a friendly and helpful manner, relaying information from senior coaches and answering general questions. *Program Support and Learning* * Assist senior coaches in designing and developing physical fitness programs for children of various age groups and skill levels, observing and learning about the considerations for different developmental stages. *Safety and Injury Prevention Awareness* * Help ensure the training environment is safe and free from hazards. * Begin to teach children basic safety rules and proper behavior during physical activities under the guidance of senior staff. * Familiarize oneself with first aid procedures and be ready to assist in case of minor injuries. *Team Collaboration and Learning* * Work closely with senior coaches and other staff members, learning from their experience and expertise. * Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance coaching skills and stay updated on the latest trends and research in children's physical fitness. *QUALIFICATION and SKILLS* * A high school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED. * Certification and experience in any sports field or background are preferred. * Enrollment in or completion of a relevant college course in Early Child Education, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field is a plus. * Experience in working with children, such as volunteer activities, babysitting, or participation in children's sports camps, is preferred. * Certification in basic First Aid is essential. CPR is a plus. * Good communication skills, especially in interacting with children and adults in a friendly and respectful way. * Basic knowledge of exercise and its benefits for children. * An authentic and powerfully demonstrable enthusiasm for sports, physical fitness and children is essential. *LANGUAGE* * Fluent in English is essential. * Bilingual speakers in both Mandarin and English are preferred. *SALARY and BENEFITS (COMPETITIVE)* * Base Salary ($19/hr) + Class Fee + Commission * Extended health care for full-time staff * Hierarchical Star Promotion - based salary increase system * Opportunities for training and professional development to progress * A friendly and supportive work environment to foster growth and learning. *WORKING CONDITIONS* * The coaches mainly work in the gym, sports facility or outdoor playground * Working hours may include evenings and weekends to align with children's schedules. * The job will involve being active and on one's feet during training and related activities.
