*Job description* *Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Project Engineer* *Primary Job function*: Design mechanical H.V.A.C, plumbing, drainage for buildings and tenant improvements. Liaise with clients, attend meetings, provide design direction, and review designers? drawings as well as manage a team of 2 ? 3 designers. *Essential roles and Responsibilities:* · Mechanical design for H.V.A.C, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems · Organize and coordinate design staff to meet project deadlines and budgets · Client relations · Drawing review and markup *Required Skills:* · Mechanical engineering design for HVAC, Hydronics, Plumbing, Drainage · Extensive knowledge of Building codes, Energy codes, plumbing codes, fire codes, ASHRAE Standards · Proficient in HAP, AutoCAD, Revit (asset), Microsoft office, Bluebeam · Multi-tasker · Thrive in a fast-paced working environment · Good communicator · Strong Intuitive and proactive manner with problem-solving mindset · Ability to concentrate on multiple tasks · Ability to review, interpret and apply building codes in different jurisdictions · Excellent time management and organizational skills · Ability to identify potential risks and deal with them directly · Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Required Experience:* · 4 ? 7 years working experience in the building industry with a background planning and executing projects as part of a project team. · A bachelor?s degree in mechanical engineering · Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng), P.Tech, C.E.T.
