Our goal is to staff a Chef position in Northern Saskatchewan, TO START ASAP. Who you are:- You are a passionate foodie and a strong team leader.- You are a Red Seal Chef (preferably).- You pay attention to detail and have excellent time management.- You go above and beyond to provide a great experience for our guests. What you will do:- Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team.- You will manage food costs and inventory.- Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality and appearance. Job Requirements - Let's not waste your time:- Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.- Jobs require shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.- The work schedules are 2 weeks in-and-out rotations.- You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.- Knowledge of Vegan, Halal and Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.- Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Camp Manager programs.- Valid Driver's license preferred.- Current First responder certificate would be an asset.- You must be a team leader, who works well with others.- Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team.- Customer relation skills.
