We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, a renowned organization specializing in Law. What is in it for you: ? Annual salary of $55.000 to $60.000 based on experience. ? Manage accounts payable, including posting invoices, issuing cheques, and reconciling outstanding invoices in line with client and firm guidelines. ? Perform accounts receivable tasks, such as charging client credit cards and posting cheque and electronic payments. ? Handle disbursement postings. ? Execute trust-related tasks, including depositing and disbursing trust funds in compliance with Law Society rules. ? Prepare and review draft bills, finalizing invoices accurately. ? Adhere to established accounting policies and procedures. ? Take on additional related duties as required. What you will need to succeed: ? 1 year of experience as an accounting clerk. ? Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. ? Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. ? French is required; English is an asset. Necessary for communication in a primarily French-speaking environment while supporting occasional English interactions. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Keen attention to detail and a client-service-oriented mindset. ? Team player with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed. ? Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. ? Familiarity with law firm billing processes and legal billing software (e.g., Elite or 3E) is highly desirable. ? Previous experience in a legal environment is highly desirable. Why Recruit Action?
