The Manager of Pro Shop Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Pro Shop. The candidate should have knowledge of the game of golf and deliver excellent customer service, as well as business knowledge. The candidate is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience through various points of contact, merchandising, pro shop retail sales, and guest reception. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Opening and closing the Pro ShopProviding exemplary customer service Sales/processing of frequent play memberships, green fees, cart, and club rentalsSale of retail productsBooking tee timesContinuous restocking of Pro Shop products, supplies and retail productsRegistering golfers for league play and tournamentsOrganizing tournaments and event organization (signage, scoring, sponsorship, registration, advertising etc.)Marshaling golf course Work together with Greens Superintendent preparation and maintenanceSupervising Pro Shop staffDaily cleaning and maintenance of Pro Shop Following health and safety policies and proceduresRun a junior golf program Organize and maintain golf lessons and any other programsPerforming other duties as assigned by the General Manager QualificationsMust be able to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays from April OctoberStart date is weather dependent, anticipated to be April 15, 2022Effective communication skillsAble to think & work in a challenging environmentEnthusiastic and interactive, enjoys working with the publicAbility to work as part of a team as well as showing individual initiativeComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsGood knowledge of the game of golf, rules, and pace of play concerns- LocationMidale, SK
