We are passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, and we?re looking for a talented Software Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. *Position Overview:* As a Software Engineering Manager at Vizzn, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that are scalable, robust, and secure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs. You will manage a team of software engineers working with browser, mobile, and server technologies. Your work will directly impact the success of our platform and the satisfaction of our users. *Responsibilities:* ? Design and Development: Develop and maintain high-quality software using best practices in design, coding, testing, and deployment ? Management: Lead the engineering team in establishing and delivering objectives. ? Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to conceptualize, design, and build new features. ? Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing among the team. ? Testing: Ensure that unit and integration tests are effective in maintaining the reliability and performance of the software. ? Documentation: Document the design, functionality, and maintenance of the software to ensure clear communication and understanding across the team. ? Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process. ? Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in a timely manner. *Qualifications:* ? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). ? Experience: ? Ten years of professional experience in software development. ? Skilled in a type-safe language. ? Proficient in various data transfer patterns commonly used in a multi-service backend. ? Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud environments (specifically GCP). ? Skills: ? Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile principles. ? Proficient in Git. ? Experience with databases, data models, and HTTP APIs. ? Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies. ? Personal Attributes: ? Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. ? Ability to lead an engineering team and collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders. ? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. ? Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
