*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various types of freight. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary for loading or unloading freight. *Qualifications* * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Experience in commercial driving is preferred. * Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
