*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others in a clinical environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. * Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice. * Handle administrative tasks, including filing, billing, and insurance verification when necessary. *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply * Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is beneficial. * Proficiency in using Abeldent or similar dental software systems is preferred. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks. * Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. * Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is required.
