The Nurse Practitioner practices by blending an in-depth knowledge of advanced nursing practice with the legal authority and autonomy as outlined in legislation, regulation, CRNS Bylaws, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The Nurse Practitioner will provide care and services at the Urgent Care Centre within their full scope of practice and competencies for clients both independently and collaboratively with a physician(s) and the healthcare team. As health care professionals, they participate in self and peer review to evaluate the outcome of their services at the patient, community, and population level. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- 1 year full time experience working as a Nurse Practitioner.- 3 years experience as a RN in critical care, ER, acute care or primary care.Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)- or Post-Graduate Practitioner Certificate is requiredLicenses- Valid Class 5 driver's license- Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))Other Education and Training- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)- Master of Nurse Practitioner is acceptable- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C)Competencies- Communication skills- Leadership skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Knowledge in assessment, treatment, and consultation...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.- LocationRegina, SK
