*Role Description*
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Specialist. The role involves growing a business department and developing a team conducting technical tasks related to algae biofilters and supporting market growth initiatives. Daily responsibilities include sales, project management and eventually supervising a team providing system maintenance, as well as data analysis, customer support, and market research.
*Duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:*
* Promote sales to existing clients;
* Provide estimates and administer sales contracts;
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
* Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
* Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
* Provide customer training in the operation and maintenance of equipment;
* Troubleshoot problems related to equipment;
* Interpret blueprints and guide team on dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
* Work with government agencies and other organizations;
* Resolve product and service related problems;
* Contribute to product design when required;
* Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
* Draft and present speeches, presentations and press releases;
* Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles;
* Assist in developing venture capital resources, and prepare funding applications and
* develop market strategies;
* Assist in developing venture capital resources;
* Assist in training and developing support staff;
* Manage schedules and shifts of technicians operating biofilters.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of
* projects.
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
* Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and
* ensuring technical feasibility.
*Skills:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Business
* Administration, or a related field (Master?s degree preferred)
* Experience in technical servicing and sales, preferably in the aquaculture or
* environmental technology sectors.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and travel internationally.
* Good communication skills in English
* Ability to travel
* Maintaining client relationships
* Presentation with clients
* Report and proposal writing skills
