*Overview* We are looking for a compassionate, caring and reliable individual with a flexible schedule and willingness to travel to clients' homes throughout Fort Saskatchewan, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Edmonton and the surrounding areas. The successful applicants must have their own vehicle and the willingness and ability to drive themselves to the clients' homes. *Responsibilities* * Provide personal care assistance to patients, including toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing. * Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for patients. * Support patients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. * Monitor patient health and report any changes to nursing staff or family members. * Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties. * Engage patients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. * Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with company policies. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care is preferred. * Ability to perform patient care tasks effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for clients. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. * Physical capability to assist with heavy lifting and mobility support as needed. * Certification as a Home Care Aide or relevant training in health care is advantageous but not required. * A genuine passion for helping others and improving their quality of life is essential.
