Looking for an opportunity to work in a team helping patients achieve the best vision possible? Our full-scope optometry clinic is looking for an Optician to join our team. We are an established, high-end patient focused optometry practice. We need an optician with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver high-end service. As a Dispensing Optician, you will be responsible for dispensing frames and lenses based on your knowledge of optical theory and best practices. You will take great care and attention to detail by reviewing prescriptions and identifying any special requirements they may have. You will assist the team by taking initiatives to make patient experiences better. We offer opportunities for continuing education and we like to have fun. If you are also a Contact Lens Fitter you will provide new CL fitting and training, as well as, refitting existing contact lens wearers in a dedicated exam lane. We are looking for a full-time optician, Tuesday to Saturday, with no evening hours. We offer salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience and performance along with 3 weeks? vacation and benefits. Applicants should hold an optician license with the College of Opticians of BC, or have held one in the past with good standing.
