Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Testing. Manufacturing and industrial plant. Construction industry. Building construction materials. Tasks: Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs. Set machine or equipment controls. Collect and analyze data and samples. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings. Visually inspect products for quality. Operate vibrating tables to settle concrete. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Apply quality control procedure. Monitor quality and production levels. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Fill moulds with concrete. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects. Conduct routine tests for product specifications. Check and monitor product quality. Direct quality control inspections. Conduct quality control. Set up and operate automatic machines that mix ingredients, extrude tempered clay mixture and cut extruded clay into sections. Interpret test results. Develop quality management and quality assurance standards. Conduct quality audits . Type of materials: Technical reports. Concrete products.
