Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic *HSE Executive Manager* to lead our safety, compliance, and HR functions. *Key Responsibilities*
*HSE Program Leadership*
* Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement the HSE Program, including policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
* Oversee initiatives like Behavior-Based Observation (BBO), Hours of Service, Competency Programs, and Subcontractor Programs.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and legal obligations.
* Foster positive relationships with industry associations, regulatory boards, and client-led conferences.
* Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on HSE matters.
* Track and report on HSE performance metrics, targets, and improvement initiatives.
*Incident Management*
* Lead incident investigations, ensuring reports are thorough, timely, and complete.
* Coordinate incident response, follow-up action plans, and continuous improvement measures.
* Act as the point of contact for clients, WCB, and regulatory bodies on all incident-related matters.
*Audit and Compliance*
* Conduct and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with JSA, SOPs, and legal standards.
* Present audit findings to senior leadership and develop action plans to address identified gaps.
*Health, Safety, and Risk Management*
* Drive initiatives to create a proactive safety culture focused on risk reduction and injury prevention.
* Collaborate with Operations and Shop teams to ensure compliance with equipment operating laws and regulations.
* Develop and implement safety programs to reduce workplace risk and promote safe working practices.
*Human Resources Leadership*
* Oversee HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee benefits, and HR policy development.
* Work with managers to develop hiring strategies and support the hiring of top-tier talent.
* Lead management-level HR investigations and provide strategic HR support to the leadership team.
* Ensure the effective administration and maintenance of HR records.
