DescriptionPost-secondary diploma or degree in Emergency Management or another related field. Certifications through the Disaster Recovery Institute would be an asset. Minimum of seven (7) years' work experience in the fields of emergency management and continuity of operations planning. Experience working in a police environment would be an asset. Previous experience conducting Hazard Risk Vulnerability Assessments (HRVA) for large organizations would be an asset. Strong communication and influencing skills in order to win the support of senior management and influence the course of major strategic decisions. Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written). An excellent ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities. Public speaking, facilitation, and technical writing skills. Advanced knowledge of continuity- LocationEdmonton, AB
