*We are a locally owned plumbing /drain cleaning business in Prince George, BC, looking for a reliable and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team Full time or on-call basis.* *You will be leading the plumbing division and be a vital part in growing with the company. You?ll handle plumbing repairs, maintenance, and drain cleaning services as needed, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service.* *Key Responsibilities:* *Respond to on-call requests for plumbing repairs and maintenance.* *Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and drainage problems.* Replacing or fixing main sewer lines , main water lines, repair or replace lift station pumps and equipment, furnace repairs , boiler system repairs etc.. *Provide professional drain cleaning services using Roto Rooter equipment.* *Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.* *Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.* *Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and solutions.* *Plan, prepare, and execute jobs * *Schedule, prep, and complete jobs* *Skills and Requirements:* *Certification: Journeyman Plumber certification (required).* *Gas B ticket* *Experience: Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience; familiarity with drain cleaning equipment is an asset.* *License: Valid BC driver?s license with a clean driving record.* *Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to providing quality customer service.* *Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities.* *Flexibility: Flexible schedule , work around prior obligations * *What We Offer:* *Competitive hourly wage.* *Flexible, on-call schedule to fit your lifestyle.* *Opportunity to work with a reputable local business * *Room for advancement * *Management opportunities * Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * On call * Overtime Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Plumbing: 4 years (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) * Plumbing ticket (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-04-01- LocationPrince George, BC
