We are looking for a talented *Kitchen Designer* to join our team?someone who is innovative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional spaces for discerning clientele.
*Position Overview*
As a *Kitchen Designer*, you will work closely with homeowners, builders, and designers to bring high-end, custom cabinetry projects to life. You must be proficient in industry-leading design software, knowledgeable in current trends, and have a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and millwork design. This role involves client consultations, technical drafting, site measurements, and project coordination, with some involvement in social media marketing to showcase our craftsmanship.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Client Collaboration:* Work directly with clients to understand their needs, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences, translating them into functional and beautiful kitchen designs.
* *Design & Drafting:* Develop custom cabinetry layouts, detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using *AutoCAD, SketchUp.*
* *Material & Finish Selection:* Assist clients in choosing cabinetry materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories that align with their vision and budget.
* *Project Coordination:* Work alongside our production team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of designs, accurate material orders, and adherence to project timelines.
* *Site Measurements:* Conduct on-site measurements and evaluations to confirm accuracy and anticipate potential design challenges.
* *Industry Expertise:* Stay up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in kitchen and millwork design.
* *Client Presentations:* Prepare and present design proposals, revisions, and final plans to clients with a professional and polished approach.
* *Social Media & Marketing Support:* Contribute to showcasing our projects through social media content, design highlights, and engaging with our audience to strengthen brand presence.
*Qualifications & Skills*
* Minimum *3 years of experience* in kitchen design, cabinetry, or millwork.
* Proficiency in *AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft 365* (Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
* Strong understanding of *cabinetry construction, materials, and millwork details*.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to guide clients through the design process.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A *creative and trend-savvy* approach to design with a focus on both aesthetics and functionality.
* Experience with *project scheduling and coordination* is an asset.
* Experience with *social media marketing* related to design and cabinetry is a plus.
* Degree or diploma in *Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field* is preferred but not mandatory.
