Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation provided. Room and board provided. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Prepare cattle for exhibition. Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly . Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Supervision: 3-4 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor. Area of specialization: Dairy cattle. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
