We are looking for experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineers (engineering lead) who have worked under tight deadlines and guided teams towards successful deliveries. The ideal candidate is a master of coding and system design with track record of technical leadership. They are experts in managing complex requirements and working with big data.The candidate will be the go-to person for the machine learning engine. They will lead efforts of members on the ML Frameworks team shipping core engine from 0 to 1, which will be used across the Bank. The candidate will interact with machine learning scientists, MLOps teams to develop systems that will satisfy the needs of machine learning projects.What are your main responsibilities?Own and ship a significant set of the ML engine.Lead the design and implementation of the ML engine, including data pipelines, feature pipelines, model, inference, and production hand-off patterns.Go-to person for machine learning engine at the bank.Lead and mentor Machine Learning Engineers to ensure best engineering practices in our systems.Job Requirements :Must-Have:Bsc+ in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or similar5+ years of extensive programming experience, at least 3 years of experience in ML systems.3+ years experience of building machine learning systems.Expert with Big Data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.Experience with Big Data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Azure and AWSYou value good software design and sweat over details in code and API design.You enjoy learning new technology and also educating others.You take great personal pride in building robust and scalable software.You strive to communicate clearly and with empathy.You are highly accountable and have a strong sense of ownership.Ability to do detailed code reviews and give thoughtful feedback.Nice to haveExperience building a library or a framework.Comfortable with statistics.Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning.Knowledge of distributed systems.Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
