Your keen eye for detail will be able to easily identify any non compliant products before they are sent to the shipping department. As we imagine the possibilities for this role, we are looking for a highly motivated individual willing to jump in and make it their own. As the successful candidate, you are dedicated to delivering high quality work, exceptional customer service and are excited to dig in and help wherever needed within the business. *Responsibilities and/or willing to learn:* * Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings and specifications. * Following strict methods and procedures. * Drilling and cutting holes for electrical power devices and instrumentation. * Mounting and wiring of electrical devices, terminal blocks, power supplies, circuit breakers and instrumentation in the panel. * Route wires/cables through panels and terminate at terminal strips. * Stripping wire to length and crimping connectors. * Soldering connectors. * Assembling harness and cables. * Properly use tools and equipment to assemble comments into panels. * Deciding when additional materials are needed in order to complete the required work. * Ensuring a high quality of work by inspecting assembled items and performing simple testing procedures for compliance to standards and drawings. * Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels and rectify issues. Not required but is an asset. * Assist co-workers as needed to complete projects and assigned tasks. * Work independently as required. * Ensures safe work practices of equipment are used at all times. * Keep equipment and working area organized, clean and safe. * All other related tasks as required. *Other responsibilities will include:* * Weekly shop clean up. *Requirements:* * Experience in wiring electrical panels ? Not required but is an asset. * Strong communication (written & verbal in English language). * Must work well with others and within a team environment. * Ability to organize work under project deadline constraints. * Reporting to Team Leaders and Operations Manager. * Must be detailed orientated and strive to build a quality product. * Good hand/ eye co-ordination. This is a full-time role that requires walking, standing, sitting and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs independently.
