*Driving Instructor ? Rydbie Driving School* _Toronto & GTA | Part-Time or Full-Time_ *About the Role* At Rydbie, we're on a mission to build safer, more confident drivers across the GTA and we're looking for a Driving Instructor who shares that commitment. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life at a pivotal moment. You'll work with students of varying skill levels, guiding them from first-time nervous beginners to test-ready, road-confident drivers. *What You'll Do* * Deliver engaging, structured in-car lessons that align with MTO curriculum standards and Rydbie's safety guidelines * Provide clear, constructive feedback that builds student skill and confidence lesson by lesson * Prepare students thoroughly for their G2 and G road tests, covering both practical techniques and Ontario traffic rules * Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student progress and lesson plans through our instructor app * Conduct all lessons in a professional manner, adhering to Ontario traffic laws and company policy * Create a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to learn and make mistakes * Stay current on driving regulations and evolving best practices in driver education *What We're Looking For* * Minimum 1 year of driving instruction experience (preferred) * Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record * Valid vehicle insurance meeting Ontario's minimum coverage requirements * MTO-issued Driving Instructor Certificate (DIC) in good standing * Strong communication skills ? you can break down complex concepts simply and patiently * Genuine ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups * Calm, professional, and encouraging demeanour under pressure * Meets all licensing requirements set by the MTO and applicable regulatory authorities * Experience in tutoring, coaching, or classroom instruction is a strong asset *Why Rydbie?* We're a tech-enabled driving school built differently.
