Martin Group is seeking an individual to join our construction team. Over the years, we have built single-family homes, apartment buildings, self-storage sites, and gaming facilities. We also renovate, update, and upscale our buildings as necessary. This position offers the ability to learn a variety of skills in a variety of settings. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work, can work both independently and within a team, can follow instructions and enjoys learning. This company provides the ability to learn and grow and has career advancement opportunities. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. * Carry materials and tools to various locations as directed by supervisors. * Support skilled tradespeople by performing tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. * Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on site. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Must have valid driver's licence and the physical capacity to fulfill the requirements of the job description. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * construction: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- Location Kingston, ON
