Casual / On-Call Security Guards (Kelowna/West Kelowna/LakeCountry)* Safety Net Security (SNS), a trusted security provider serving multiple sectors across British Columbia, is hiring two full-time Security Guards for a professional site in the Kelowna/West Kelowna area. Position Overview We are currently looking to fill two full-time security positions: * *Afternoon Shift:* 3:00 PM ? 11:00 PM * *Night Shift:* 11:00 PM ? 7:00 AM These positions are ideal for dependable, professional, and calm security personnel who can work independently, think on their feet, and represent SNS with integrity. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining safety, assisting the public, completing routine patrols, and ensuring professional site operations. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine patrols of designated areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, residents, staff, and property * Enforce site-specific policies and procedures * Respond to safety concerns, incidents, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner * Provide assistance and directions to guests, residents, or staff as needed * Observe, record, and report all incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity accurately and promptly * Maintain strong communication with supervisors and team members * Operate smartphones/tablets for reporting and documentation * Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while on duty What You Bring * Valid BC Basic Security Licence ? required * Valid Driver?s Licence and clean driver?s abstract ? required * First Aid Certification ? asset * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong decision-making skills and situational awareness * Ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure * Availability to work either afternoon or overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays * Previous experience in residential, resort, mobile, or emergency response security is an asset Why Join SNS * Full-time hours * Competitive hourly wage * Company-provided uniforms and training * Opportunity for future advancement across multiple divisions * Supportive team environment * Work that directly contributes to community safety Additional Details *Job Type:* Full-Time *Positions Available:* 2 *Shift Options:* 3:00 PM ? 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM ? 7:00 AM *Work Location:* In person ?
