In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. As a Security Guard, your presence will contribute to fostering a welcoming, professional, and reassuring atmosphere where employees and customers can feel confident and at ease. We value individuals who demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and a commitment to safety. *Job Duties:* * Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at entry points and throughout the facility. * Monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access while providing excellent customer service. * Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and identify, document, and report potential security risks or suspicious activities. * Assist visitors, customers, and employees courteously and professionally. * Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment. * Collaborate with management and team members to address concerns and resolve security-related issues. * Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when required. * Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, and timely incident and activity reports. * Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times. *Requirements:* * Valid British Columbia Security License (mandatory). * Previous security guard or customer service experience required. * Excellent grooming, presentation, and adherence to uniform standards. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse groups of people. * Superior observational and problem-solving skills. * Sound judgment and decision-making ability, particularly under pressure. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Comfortable standing and patrolling for extended periods. * Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to attend training or meetings as required. *Why Join Us* _At G Force Security, we value integrity, professionalism, and respect.
